Capsular contracture implant exchange
One of the most dreaded complications of breast augmentation is the capsular contracture. It may lead to significant distortions of a breast mound. Fortunately, capsular contracture scar tissue can be removed with another plastic surgery. Usually new breast implants will be placed in a breast implant exchange and scar tissue removal surgery.
She requested these very hard, distored breast mounds and the breast implants to be removed. The older breast implants were above the muscle. She had silicone breast implants placed below the muscle.

This woman has severe distortion of her breast mounds, and were hard. Her breast implants were above the muscle and had been in for nearly 15 years. She had her breast implants and all scar tissue removed, and new breast implants placed below the muscle. Note that she still has a minor degree of upper pole fullness on the left profile view.
