This woman sought out plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael J. Brown to attempt to improve her breast cancer reconstruction result. She had undergone 4 previous reconstructive surgeries. She requested an improvement in both breasts. She had a breast lift on the right and a breast implant exchange and scar tissue revision on the mastectomy side. She was very pleased with her result.

She had a breast reconstruction done elsewhere and requested an improvement in her breast shape and projection. She asked for fuller breast mounds using larger breast implants. She also required significant improvement and scar tissue removal from the previous breast surgeries.

This woman developed right breast cancer and requested immediate reconstruction using her back muscle. She also had a breast implant placed at the same surgery as the breast removal. This way she never went without having a breast mound. The markings depict the skin that will be removed by the general surgeon (to include the breast biopsy site) and the skin/muscle taken from her back to reconstruct her new breast mound. She did not want a second surgery and declined nipple reconstruction.

This woman had a right breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. She requested a breast reconstruction without using muscle flaps. She had a tissue expander placed. These before and after breast reconstruction photos depict the expansion phase as well when the breast expander has been overfilled to create more skin. The after photos demonstrate the nipple reconstruction as well.

This woman was diagnosed with left breast cancer and underwent a skin sparing mastectomy. The size of the skin paddle is caused by incorporating the previous biopsy site. She initially only wanted a breast reconstruction for volume restoration and then later decided to have breast implants for a fuller look. The after pictures with the nipple reconstruction show some of the tape wrinkling. These are only one week after nipple reconstruction.
